The planets don't exist . Because nothing can logically move since something has to move out of the way for that thing to move and we will end up in an eternal traffic jam. And naturally there is no place that "nothing" exists because then nothing will be able to enter this "nothingness".

Anyone want to read up Parmenides?

Parmenides was an ancient Greek philosophy that believed nothing actually moved because something had to move out of the way for that something to move which was impossible because then something else had to move out of the way. Therefore all movement came from the mind. His student Zeno tried to prove them, claiming that since there were an infinite amount of points between one spot and another, and infinity could not be reached, we mathematically could not reach the other spot.

Any questions?

Well Parmenides says that we can't move because nothing else can because something is bodyblocking them. His student tried to prove him wrong with a strange logic...

Is that good ?

Does quilt have to be sewn from many little pieces? Can I make quilt from 2 very big piece of cloths?

I suppose you could----I would have to ask a quilter if that is 'ok'

Though I would rather knit than sew....hand sewing is ok for small stuff (made a fishy pillow last fall hand sewn)....but to get out my sewing machine and find a place for it and then tack all the pieces together and........welll
that just takes more time than I want to spend doing something.

What do you think?

well, you can read a book, watch tv, write a story, paint a picture, clean my house, clean your house, help your parents out with spring cleaning and other odd jobs that seem to have been forgotten over the 'winter' , you can go to the beach, go to the mall, go to the library (they have those in paradise right?).....you can take a nap, you can take a walk, or a bike ride....you can try to play guildwars (if the lagg is better now).

is that a long enough list of things you can do??? (or do I as the 'mom' type here have to make a longer one for you 'kids'...geez summer vacation, all year they complain about how fun it was and now that its here they have nothing to do )
